Don Sweet

Don Sweet is director of OneSubsea, an SLB company, which under his guidance has become the leader in the subsea market. He is also a member of the executive steering committee for the Subsea Integration Alliance between OneSubsea and Subsea 7. He joined the OneSubsea executive leadership team as vice president integrated solutions & sales in 2013 when the company was formed between Cameron and SLB. Mr. Sweet has worked for SLB since 1984 in a variety of operations and management positions in North America, Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to joining OneSubsea, he was vice president engineering and manufacturing for the Reservoir and Conveyance Product Group. Other senior leadership positions include vice president marketing & technology for the Reservoir Production Group, president artificial lift, director of personnel Oilfield Services, vice president Oilfield Services Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and division manager testing United Kingdom. Mr. Sweet has extensive reservoir and production experience, including formation evaluation, well testing, HPHT perforating, deepwater completions, subsea processing, artificial lift, and monitoring and measurement. He graduated in 1983 from the University of Tulsa (TU), where he earned a bachelor of science degree in petroleum engineering. Mr. Sweet serves on the advisory board for the TU McDougall School of Petroleum Engineering and has been a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers since 1981.
